Raindrops

I love the rain, its rhythmic splish-splash is so comforting. I love how the earth smells and how the trees are greener after it rains. It also brings back happy memories of childhood laughter & taking showers under the rain gutter. Of course, it was when I lived in a tropical country where the rain is a welcome respite from the sweltering heat. I don't get to do that nowadays since the weather here is colder. But I still love to hear its rhythm and capture the clinging raindrops.

  3. This looks like an aloe plant. Love the droplets!
Rain is good for our spring plants. Although we were expecting a 40% chance today, it did not rain.

BTW, I am using D60, did not end up buying the D80. The lens I use is the 18-55 that came with the kit. I attached a polarizer on the lens.I took those shots early in the morning around 8:00 and the sky was a clear. Nikon cameras have good reviews on colors.

It is a good investment for a hobbyist.
