Stinking Rose

Pangga and I went to the Stinking Rose. It's a restaurant for garlic lovers. The room reeks of garlic and decorated with it. Garlic is good for your health and this is a delicious way of enjoying it.

For those who can't stand garlic, there's a "vampire fare" available. You get the same menu minus the garlic. But why go to a garlic restaurant if you don't like garlic? Doesn't make sense. hehehe

Their website is:

"Garlic is the "flower" from which this restaurant gets its name. From soup to ice cream, the supposedly healthful herb is a star ingredient in almost every dish. ( "We season our garlic with food," exclaims the menu. ) The restaurant's lively atmosphere and odoriferous aroma combine for good entertainment."

We ordered seafood soup called "Zuppa di Pesce" and garlic Roasted Rabbit with olives. They are famous for their Forty Clove Garlic Chicken but since I haven't tasted rabbit meat in my whole life, I ordered it.

Zuppa di Pesce - mussels, crab, fresh fish, calamari and shrimp in a zesty tomato brodetto.

First bite of rabbit meat. YUM! Goes well with roasted olives.
