Lake Elizabeth, Fremont

March 1

Lake Elizabeth is right across the street where our friends: Jonnie, Katy and Thelma live. We went there for an exercise after our huge meal at Red Lobster and to walk their dogs: Curtis and Snape.

The Central Park is set on 450 acres with an 83 acre lake. The Lake was dedicated to Fremont's Sister City, Elizabeth, Australia, on March 22, 1969. The views are breathtaking and will lend peace to those who need it.

Happy with my Pangga.

A huge part of the area is occupied by Coots. An American Coot is all black, has white bill with black mark near tip and white stripe on sides of undertail. Its bill is triangular like a chicken's, not flat like a duck's. Although it swims like a duck, the American Coot does not have webbed feet like a duck. Instead of having all the toes connected by webs, each coot toe has lobes on the sides of each segment.
